Now some of you are probably wondering why , that after seeing LA MAFIA's elaborate production Verizon with that huge stage and incredible light show, that I would make a trip to H-town to see them again for "just another show", but I'm telling you  that with La Mafia there is no such thing as "just another show", it's always a production. The stage was darkened with some blue lights pulsating in the background and a blue spotlight on the ceiling while "Para el Pueblo" was being played over the speakers, as the guys were taking their places on stage  The lights were turned on them (in their white pants and different styles of black and white shirts) just at the instant they started playing the song live coming in right at the part of the chorus that goes "Para el Pueblo" and the crowd was going wild. No it wasn't as elaborate as at the Verizon  BUT it was extremely effective and dramatic. What can I say , my boyz know how to make an entrance. No matter how dramatic the entrance , how great the showmanship, or how cute the guys are (and they definitely got all that going on) , it IS about the MUSIC and the MUSIC was absolutely incredible as it always is. I mean the fans did not stop screaming and singing along during the entire show. The guys were cutting up big time moving around all over the stage like they always do, bombarding us with hit after hit and as they and the time was going by to fast. I knew that by the time we had heard "Un Millon de Rosas", "Me Estoy Enamorando, and "Como Me Duele Amor"  (songs that they often close with) that the show was almost over and was very surprised when they took us back to 1983 to close the show with "Quiero Quiero"  and  MORE surprised that even the Norteño fans were singing along on that one, BUT you know that wasn't really the end because as per usual the cries of OTRA... OTRA...  OTRA.. went up imediately and the crowd was screaming wildly  when they launched into "Donde el Viento me Lleve" .
