Tim
Sici and I were pretty excited about returning to Lubbock to witness La Mafia's return after such a long time and WITH Los Palominos (because for us it just doesn't get any better than LM and LP togeher! )

It was an extra added bonus to get a chance to check out (Urbana Records  newest artist) INZENDIO who took the stage first, and I've got to say that Mando knows how to recognize talent. I was very impressed by them and hope to get a chance to see them again soon.

Then oh man Somebody SCREAAAMM LOS PALOMINOS took the stage and totally mesmerized the crowd with their incredible music and their charm.

Then it was La Mafia's turn. The crowd was already worked into a frenzy as the guys took the stage one by one starting with Joe's incredible drum solo , joined next by Rudy (who the fans were surprised and delighted to see) , then Tim (who did a great job on guitar BTW) , then David and then Mando and by the time Oscar joined them the crowd was almost out of control. To say the screaming was deafening would be an understatement. I SWEAR I am NOT exaggerating when I say that I haven't heard so much screaming since I saw the Beatles and I mean it went on throughout the entire show! The music was awesome as La Mafia bombarded us with hit after hit after hit some from WAY back in the day up through their current single "Tienes Razón" , so many that I won't even try to list them. It was a yet another POWERFUL , high energy show that was just so incredible that it is impossible to describe with all the guys just as excited as the fans , and the fans ,man oh man, I turned around and I can't even describe the emotion and excitement I saw on their faces as they were singing along on every song.

It was a magical night in Lubbock Texas. I'm sure all the Lubbock fans will agree that it was worth the wait.
