I guess you could say that Houston Texas is pretty excited about getting pro football back in their city. I mean the Houston Texans wont even be playing until next year, but they already have cheerleaders and well why not start celebrating a year early by throwing a big party in downtown Houston to unveil the jerseys? The ceremony was held on 9-25-2001 in front of the Wortham Center on Texas Avenue. In addition to LA MAFIA, other celebrities participating were ZZ Top, Clay Walker, Eric Dickerson and Mary Lou Retton. I wish I could have been there to see "The Pride of the Northside" modeling their jerseys. Thanks to Joey's photos, I almost feel as if I had been there. |
