Wow! I know I had just seen them a week before but these guys never cease to amaze me. Every show I've seen this year has been a little bit different. This time they opened with "Un Million de Rosas" and although they played many of the songs I'd heard the week before in Big D they played them in totally different order. Not only do they instinctively know how give each and every crowd exactly what they want, they are also playing songs that fans voted for on their website. I mean when was the last time you heard them do "Mi Loca Pasion" live? or "Limite"? Oh man, I can't even begin to list all the songs they played but it was a great mix of their hits from the 80's to the present .
Although every show is a little bit different, the reaction is always the same, the anticipation, the excitement, crowds in front of the stage backed up way back on the dance floor, everyone singing along on EVERY song, women launching themselves onto the stage...... , the shouts of OTRA OTRA OTRA...
I usually stake out my front row position and remain there throughout the show, but this time I decided to experience the show from different vantage points. I started out about 4 back and , moved around to different locations (not an easy task) . Although I managed to get some great close ups, the shots from further back will give you a better idea of the action on stage and what it's like to be part of the crowd. |
