I didn't know what to expect from an unplugged. I had a hard time picturing this incredible show band seated on stools. I was afraid that it would inhibit their performance, but boy was I wrong. They were having way too much fun cutting up on stage and some of their expressions were priceless.
Oscar was more animated than I had ever seen him (so you can just imagine) and had so many jokes (new ones lol). I've heard from some who were listening to the show over the WWW that the jokes were pretty funny on the radio, but it's really Oscar's delivery (the expressions on his face, and the cute way he kinda laughs at his own jokes) that makes them hilarious.
And the setting is impossible to describe. The photos give you an idea, but don't do it justice. The club was very dark with torches burning on each side of the stage. A baby grand piano (I wish I could have gotten a picture of Mando playing it but I was not at the right angle) added a touch of elegance, while the white curtains behind the stage and draped around it added warmth to the intimate set as they changed colors with the lighting.
