Oh man o man o man, the anticipation had been building all day for La Mafia , and with a SURPRISE GUEST PERFORMANCE by LOS PALOMINOS being thrown in as an extra added bonus the crowd was worked into a frenzy . The sun was setting and the lights were now on the drums when Joe took the stage and began a totally awesome drum solo, that had the crowd screaming, then the two young guns, Tim  and Marion  joined him and started playing along with him, then they were joined by Mando and David who took their places behind their keyboards and WOW I can't even describe the excitement, and THEN when Mr Personality , Oscar de la Rosa , made his grand entrance the crowd just went absolutely beserk.

They opened the show with "Un Million de Rosas" and launched into hit after hit after hit with the crowd singing along and screaming on every one of them Oh man when they played the new single "Tienes Razón" the crowd just went wild, and when Oscar told us that the new CD "Para el Publeo" would be out in October they were screaming like crazy. The guys were moving all over the stage and having a blast and looking adorable.. The close of the show was even more dramatic than the opening, with Oscar on his knees singing "Si Quiere Dios". Oh man the crowd was loving it and EVEN before they finished the song the crowd started not just chanting but SCREAMING at the tops of their lungs ...OTRA OTRA OTRA,..... (and I was like let them finish the song b4 ya'll start LOL) . The MC came out on the stage and said "Oscar ya'll aren't going to leave the crowd like this are you?" , or algo asi. For the encore they did "Como Me Duele Amor" with the crowd not just singing along but screaming out the lyrics. Oh yeah I would definitely say that in the Valley, La Mafia once again RULEZ.

After the show, as I was wandering around in a dazed state looking for my car  (which took me 20 minutes to find LOL), I could hear La Mafia's music blaring from other people's cars, and passed by a  picnic table where people were singing La Mafia songs.  When I finally found my car the traffic was so backed up that I just put the top down and cranked up my CD player with "Tienes Razón" on repeat and waited about 30 minutes before  trying to get out of there.  I was just happy to be sitting down as it was now 9:30PM and I had been on my feet since 2:00PM. Yeah it was a long drive, yeah it was hotter than he77, yeah I missed the Cowboys game (they lost anyway), and yeah I had a long drive back, but man o man was it ever worth the trip.
